After trying to find a local company through some other business directory sites
I found that most sites were either very cluttered with pop ups and
lots of adverts, or when I did find a company, there was no link to their website
due to the fact that the company would have to pay for this privilege.

Because of this The Swindon Directory was launched in March 2007.
Its main purpose is to provide the general public with a quick and easy way
to find local businesses.

As part of the search facility I included a keyword search, something you don't tend to
see on some other business directory sites. If you know of a keyword you are looking for

some other business directory sites, we don't charge anything to display a link to your website.
